Our lab of biological oceanography is happy to have Sandra Herms with us. She studied in Berlin (Max Delbruek Centrum for Molecular Medicine and in the Lise Meitner School), and she is here performing an internship in the group of Dr. Santiago Hernández-León. She is learning and getting skills in methods normally used in biological oceanography, mainly enzymatic activities and gut fluorescence, but also image analysis. She has been working hard during the last weeks with us under the supervision of Lidia Nieves. We also wish to acknowledge Sandra for the good work and friendliness.
